What do I actually keep?

Put in a price and see where every dollar of a sale goes: platform fees, partner splits, refunds and taxes. Then flip to Monthly goal to see how many sales, and how many visitors, it really takes to reach an extra-income number.

Partners, refunds, taxes

What a partner or affiliate gets from each sale, like a SplitPartner deal. Refunded sales don't pay a commission.

Refunds: use your own history if you have it. If you're new, try a few rates and see how much the answer moves. Taxes: US self-employment tax alone is 15.3% on most net earnings, before income tax. Your real number depends on your situation.
You keep, per sale $6.19

How the math works

  • Platform fees come off every sale: the fee % times the price, plus the fixed fee. Most processors keep their fee even when you refund.
  • Refunds give the whole price back to the buyer, at the refund rate you set.
  • Partner split is paid on sales that stick, not on refunded ones.
  • Tax set-aside is taken from what's left, so you don't spend money that belongs to the IRS.
  • Monthly goal adds your monthly costs and works backward to sales, then to visitors using your conversion rate.

The preset fees

US rates for domestic card payments, checked October 2026. Fees change, so check your platform's pricing page before you rely on them. You can type over any fee.

A calculator, not a promise

This shows math, not a forecast. Nobody can tell you your conversion rate before you've sold anything, including me. If someone promises you a number, run their offer through this page and see what it would actually take.

It's also not tax advice. When the money gets real, a tax pro is worth the fee.
